Micro House

The Micro House is a scaled-down version of the Compact House, with a total area of just 266 sq ft (24.5 m²). The prototype is composed of modular ring elements made of two UHPC wythes with rigid insulation sandwiched between them. When assembled, these rings form a continuous building envelope that enhances the structural integrity and overall strength of the system.

By minimizing the number of components and joints compared to conventional precast construction, the system reduces assembly time and labor while improving performance and durability. The project presents a compelling alternative to traditional construction methods, offering a robust, reliable, and sustainable building system that enhances enclosure performance and extends the building’s lifespan.
